More About Sheri
I am Sheri Clark Millwood, a native of Hall County, with family roots that run deep in Hall County. My ancestors, the Hatcher family and the Clark family, settled in the area before the Civil War. The Clark family built the historic house on the north side of Clark’s Bridge. The bridge and road were later named in honor of my family. Clarks Bridge Park was site of the 1996 Olympic rowing, canoeing and kayaking venue.
Just before my graduation from Brenau University with majors in Accounting and Marketing, I began working for a restaurant group as director of marketing and property management . Over the 16 years that followed, our franchise operations grew to include Hardee’s, Church’s Fried Chicken, Williams Seafood, Sonny’s Bar-B-Que and local non-franchised restaurants The Golden Pig, Frank’s Place, The Steak Barn and others.
Since becoming active in real estate brokerage almost 15 years ago, I have concentrated on the commercial, industrial and land areas of real estate. I have assisted many companies (both franchised and independent) with locating sites for their businesses and have sold hundreds of acres of land throughout the state of Georgia on behalf of Banks, individuals and corporations.
I am active in real estate industry trade organizations including membership in Hall County Board of REALTORS®, Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS®, Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. Leadership roles at the local level include previously serving in several officer capacities, including President, of The Hall County Board and having held numerous committee positions. I was recognized by the Hall County Board of REALTORS® as it's REALTOR® of the Year for 2002 and achieved the honor of Lifetime Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club.
I am also an active member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and serve on their Economic Development Council.
My passion is automobile racing (especially NASCAR Sprint Cup racing). I have been hooked on racing since attending my first race at a dirt track (The old Hall County Speedway) when I was 6 years old and love attending car shows and cruise-ins.
My community, the City of Oakwood, is extremely important to me. I currently serve as Chair of the City of Oakwood Planning & Zoning Board and have been Chair of The City of Oakwood Economic Development Authority since 1993.
My husband of over 18 years, Tony Millwood, is also a Hall County native. His passion is Lake Lanier and he is active in efforts to preserve the integrity of Lake Lanier for future generations. Tony, a Mortgage Lender with Bank of America Home Loans, just celebrated his 20th year with Bank of America.
We attend Lakewood Baptist Church.
My goal is to help my clients achieve their commercial real estate goals by providing exceptional, dependable, personalized service.
My philosophy is “God First, family second and everything will fall in place”.
